lost in the stars - Victorian compass fob necklace
A celestial treasure...
“You - you alone will have the stars as no one else has them...In
one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing.
And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at
the sky at night...You - only you - will have stars that can laugh.”
- Antoine de Saint-<wbr>Exupéry / The Little Prince
A rare and working!!!! Victorian era watch compass fob is set inside a star-shaped frame. The star frame is slightly engraved with embellishments on the star points and has a warm golden shade. The compass is, as mentioned above, in working condition and the needle moves cleanly and accurately.
The star is suspended from an antique gold-filled watch fob link. The necklace chain features hand wire-wrapped clear crystals, rhinestone rondelles, Victorian era petite book chain, antique rollo chain, and vintage brass bar chain.
The necklace is secured with a vintage lever clasp and can be worn from 22-25" in length (with extender). If you'd prefer a shorter necklace, please just let me know at the time of purchase
